Petra to Wadi Rum

A day dedicated to visiting the “Rose City,” Petra, the capital of the Nabateans. During the visit, we will explore the most important and representative monuments carved into the rock by the Nabateans.

We begin with The Treasury, an internationally famous monument featured in one of the Indiana Jones movies, followed by the Colored Tombs, the Royal Tombs, and the Monastery. Petra is one of those must-see places in the world that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. In the afternoon, after visiting Petra, we travel for 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Lawrence of Arabia Desert (Wadi Rum). The visit lasts four hours and is conducted in unique 4x4 vehicles driven by Bedouins (6 people per car). The excursion consists of a short journey through the lunar-like landscape of this desert, where we will observe the wonders created by nature, rock formations, and sand erosion. (With assistant or driver, depending on availability). At the end of the visit, we return to Amman.
